
Each year at HOBY South Florida, a minimum of 35 community volunteers work together to provide high school sophomores with leadership-enhancing experiences.
HOBY South Florida is run entirely by a volunteer committee.
Adults, age 18 and older, to lead a group of sophomores during the seminar.
Facilitators are energetic, approachable, passionate volunteers responsible for the day-to-day supervision and guidance of HOBY ambassadors.
High school-age HOBY alumni who return to energize and coordinate activities for the seminar.
These high school juniors and seniors motivate and inspire HOBY ambassadors throughout the seminar and help them transition to life as HOBY alumni after the seminar.
Front-line seminar leaders who handle the various planning and administrative tasks involved in hosting a successful seminar.
Typical roles involve volunteer coordination and recruitment, ambassador recruitment, program planning and coordination, and fundraising or community relations tasks.
